The 1912 General Ordinance of the Navy states in
its Art. 1117 the flag of the Vice-president shall be quarterly green
and red, with a white cross overall and on the center the national arms.
The width of the cross is 1/9 the fly.
Joseph McMillan, May 10, 2000.
I am sure thet in Mexico there is not a flag for Vice
president because since 1917 there is not Vice
President (100% sure)And the President flag is not
presicely for the ejecutive office is the flag for the
supreme commander of the armed forces is the mexican
flag but with 4 with stars in the green area( one
vertical line) this is only used when the president is
in a military act (about this info I am not 100% sure
but if there is a presidential flag is not commonly
used).
Armanado Azúa, May 11, 2000.
The current-in-effect 1917-Constitution promulgated by the president in turn,
Venustiano Carranza, erradicated the Vice-president position. Then, in the case of
president's absence or indisposition, the presidence will be occupied temporaly by the
person appointed by the "Congreso de la Unión" (Congress of the Union), according the
Constitutional articles 84º, 85º and 86º.
